NPEP Newsletter, March 2016
The 6th international conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, NanoAfrica2016, will be held at the University of South Africa (UNISA) in Roodepoort, SOUTH AFRICA on the 03 – 06 April 2016. The conference is jointly organised by the South African National Nanotechnology Initiative (SANi) and the Department of Physics of the UNISA.
This conference will provide a forum for postgraduate students, researchers, technologists and entrepreneurs to interact on the latest developments and future trends in the multidisciplinary area of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. In addition to South African scientists and students involved in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, the conference will bring together leading scientists from all over the world. The structure of the Conference will comprise of plenary and invited talks, normal oral and poster presentations.
We expect more than 150 postgraduate students from all over the African continent to attend the conference. In order to make the conference attendance affordable to the students and other delegates, the organizing committee is therefore writing to solicit financial support from your agency. The previous conference held in 2014 was very successful with more than 100 delegates from the African continent and the rest of the world and we expect this conference to be even more successful. We credit the success of this conference largely to our sponsors, who lend their names and financial support to it.
