Overview

There is a growing need to ensure that South Africa’s investments in scientific research are responsive to societal and economic challenges. NRF|SAASTA is well positioned to champion public engagement dialogues where all role players especially researchers and industry.

The public engagement dialogues in priority areas will essentially take the form of interactive discussions involving a cross section of relevant stakeholders to enable all perspectives or viewpoints to be heard and discussed on equal standing.
