SACI Inorganic 2017
News category: Nanoannounce
I would like to extend a warm invitation to you to attend the Inorganic 2017 conference in June 2017, to be held in the Western Cape Province. This event incorporates both the national Inorganic Chemistry Conference and Carman Physical Chemistry Symposium of the South African Chemical Institute. The conference will take place at the Arabella Hotel & Spa, which is situated near to Kleinmond in the Hermanus area of the Western Cape. The hotel overlooks the Botrivier and has sweeping views of the ocean, mountains and natural beauty of the area. In addition to the delights of the scenery, winelands and whale watching, we will be presenting a stimulating programme of cutting edge inorganic and physical chemistry, with a line-up of both local and international speakers.
This conference represents the 18th in the series of Inorganic conferences, with the first having been held at the Wigwam Motel in Rustenburg in 1981. The organising committee has decided to return to the tradition of holding the conference at a relatively remote location to encourage maximum interaction between delegates, in particular students and faculty. The conference themes aim to cover a wide range of inorganic and physical chemistry topics, including bioinorganic chemistry, organometallic chemistry and catalysis, green and environmental chemistry, inorganic materials and supramolecular chemistry, and theoretical chemistry.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Western Cape in June 2017.
